- 1 cup warm water make sure it’s between 110-115 degrees
- 1/4 cup unsweetened nondairy milk (almond milk, soy milk, etc.)
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar or pure maple syrup add a couple more tsp if desired
- 2 1/4 tsp or 1 packet active dry yeast (can also use instant yeast)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil or regular organic canola oil, vegetable oil, etc.
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup whole wheat flour or substitute regular flour if necessary
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
