Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 3/4 cup and 1 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour (add more only if needed)
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cane sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. To a large bowl, add in the warm water and olive oil. Combine well.
  • Add in all the dry ingredients (cornmeal - sugar). Combine with fork until soft dough forms. Knead the dough for a few minutes.
    *Add in a bit more flour if the dough is wet still..*
    Let the dough sit for 20 minutes in a greased bowl.
  • Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper. On a floured surface, form the dough into a large pizza crust or two smaller crusts.
    Place the crust(s) on the parchment-lined pan. Top with pizza sauce and other desired pizza toppings.
    Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and toppings are cooked throughout.
