Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup oat flour make sure it’s gluten free/or use regular for non gluten-free
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 2 tsp ground flaxseed *optional*
  • 4 1/2 tbsp light brown sugar or coconut sugar can be substituted
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips or 2 tbsp regular, if that’s what you have on hand
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp + 1 1/2 tsp unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup and 3 tsp dairy-free or regular milk

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients thoroughly in large bowl.
    *If you need to, using your hands may help to incorporate the ingredients together more easily..*
  • Form into 13 medium-sized cookies and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Press down slightly on the tops.
    Top with more chocolate chips if desired..
  • Bake for 11 minutes at 350 degrees.
